March 2009

  • The Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour signs on for its first broadcast on the Artist First Radio Network

April 2009

  • Dawah International, LLC tours Texas Prisons and visits Houston's Ray Hill Prison Show
  • Prisonworld Magazine changes its format to a tabloid size (10x10) with 16 FULL COLOR pages.

May 2009

  • Prisonworld Magazine picks up two more distributors - one in the Southwest and one in the Midwest.
  • Prisonworld Blogtalk posts TI's (Clifford Harris) prison address

June 2009

  • Prisonworld Magazine celebrates another successful year in print and announces several new additives for the upcoming year (2009-2010 print year is from May/June to April/May)
  • Tiny Lister (Deebo from Friday) and Michael Colyar (Comedienne & winner of Star Search) appear on the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour - see radio show archives
July 2009
  • Bernadette Stanis (Thelma from Good Times) and Kesan ("Atlanta" from G's to Gents) appear on the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour- see radio show archives

August 2009

  • Husband & wife team, Rufus & Jenny Triplett take over hosting duties for the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour
  • The 15 Minutes of FAME segment of the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour was created to give unknown artist the opportunity to sing LIVE on the radio. Acapella is the only true form to evaluate if someone has raw talent.
  • MC BRANZ from the East Coast Family (Boyz II Men, ABC & BBD) and Kym Whitley star film and television appear on the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour - see radio show archives

September 2009

  • The Prisonworld brand has been expanded to include television productions. Already under the company umbrella is Prisonworld Magazine, Prisonworld Records, Prisonworld Blogtalk and the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour. Now the company welcomes Prisonworld Productions to the fold.
  • Dawah International survives the floods of Powder Springs in Cobb County, Georgia. There was mass devastation, business, schools and roads were closed, but the staff was spared and spent time helping flood victims.
  • Prisonworld Magazine interviews T'Keyah Crystal Kemah, from In Living Color and That's So Raven,  for its15 Minutes of FAME page. She gave a great interview and insightful, encouraging advice to the inmates.

October 2009

  • Prisonworld Magazine ships late for the first time in its three year printing history due to the devastation of the floods in the West Georgia area.

  • Dawah International's website - www.dawahinc.com -  and its sub URL's reaches over 60,000 unique monthly visitors
  • The Business Roll Call is a new segment that has been added to the  Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour to allow businesses to have their website announced to the listening audience. During this segment the hosts will read a list of businesses that have decided to partake in the opportunity to expand their businesses to a global audience.
  • The Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour gets syndicated to the TROOPS and is now broadcasted on the Armed Forces Radio Network as well as the Artist First Radio Network.

November 2009
  • Willie Triplett from old school favorite group Ready For The World hangs out on the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour

  • The Sugar Hill Gang - Pioneers of Rap/Hip-Hop hang out and talk about their 30 year anniversary on the Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour
  • Dawah International, LLC teams up with a furniture company to help the hungry and the needy
  • Jon B, rapper Invincible and mother Henrietta Hon chats it up about the A Soldier Never Dies Project
  • The Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour becomes a RSS subscriber podcast
  • Dawah International, LLC is recognized by the Press Office of the White House as "an exceptional form of creative media"

December 2009

  • The Prisonworld Radio Network is launched with 24 Hour LIVE streaming
  • The Prisonworld Acapella Radio Hour interviews Mutah Beale, former member of Tupac Shakur's Outlawz
  • Dawah International starts a forum called "MY DISCUSSIONS"
